Fla. Stat. § 588.07
No planter or other person not having a lawful fence shall fix or cause to be fixed in any of his or her enclosures, any canes or stakes or anything that shall or may kill or maim, hurt, or destroy any cattle, horses, sheep, goat, or swine, under penalty of $10 for every such offense, to be recovered before the proper court; one-half of the penalty thereof shall go to the informer and the other half to the county.
