1. (1) The director of the Division of Dairy Industry shall be appointed by the commissioner and shall serve at the commissioner's pleasure.
2. (2) The director shall supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of the division and shall, under the direction of the commissioner, enforce the provisions of chapters 502 and 503.
