Preneed sales; registration of agents

- (1) All sales of preneed funeral service contracts or direct disposition contracts shall be made pursuant to chapter 497.
- (2) No person may act as an agent for a funeral director, funeral establishment, direct disposer, or direct disposer establishment with respect to the sale of preneed contracts unless such person is registered pursuant to chapter 497.
- (3) Each licensee or registrant shall be subject to discipline if his or her agent violates any provision of this chapter applicable to such licensee or registrant.
