1. (1) Any person making a complaint pursuant to this act who does so in good faith shall be immune from any liability, civil or criminal, that otherwise might be incurred or imposed.
2. (2) The ombudsman or any person acting on behalf of the Office of State Long-Term Care Ombudsman or the state or a district long-term care ombudsman council shall be immune from any liability, civil or criminal, that otherwise might be incurred or imposed, during the good faith performance of official duties.
