1. (1) It is unlawful for any person or public body to offer or advertise to the public, in any way or by any medium, basic services as defined in this part without obtaining a valid current license. It is unlawful for any holder of a license issued pursuant to this part to advertise or hold out to the public that it holds a license for a PPEC center other than that for which it actually holds a license.
2. (2) Any person who violates the provisions of subsection (1) is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.083. Each day of continuing violation shall be considered a separate offense.
