1. (1) In order to ensure the highest degree of quality control in the construction of new recreational vehicles and to ensure the safe condition of used recreational vehicles, each new or used recreational vehicle sold in the state shall be inspected by licensed recreational vehicle dealers offering such unit for sale.

2. (2) The department shall determine a fee for the seal authorized under ¹s. 320.827 which is sufficient to cover the cost of producing and issuing the seal. Fees collected shall be deposited into the General Revenue Fund.

   ¹Note.--Section 320.827 no longer requires a seal; a label continues to be required.
