Fla. Stat. § 282.103
(3) All state agencies are required to use the SUNCOM Network for agency communications services as the services become available; however, no agency is relieved of responsibility for maintaining communications services necessary for effective management of its programs and functions. If a SUNCOM Network service does not meet the communications requirements of an agency, the agency shall notify the 1Division of Communications in writing and detail the requirements for that communications service. If the 1division is unable, within 90 days, to meet an agency's requirements by enhancing SUNCOM Network service, the 1division shall grant the agency an exemption from the required use of specified SUNCOM Network services.
1Note.--Deleted in the reorganization of the Department of Management Services by s. 3, ch. 97-296. Section 4, ch. 97-296, requires the Division of Statutory Revision to prepare a reviser's bill for submission to the 1998 Regular Session of the Legislature substituting references to the Department of Management Services in the Florida Statutes for references to divisions, bureaus, or other units of that department.
