The State Board of Education shall consist of the Governor, the Secretary of State, the Attorney General, the Comptroller, the Treasurer, the Commissioner of Agriculture, and the Commissioner of Education. The Governor shall be the chair of the board, and the Commissioner of Education shall be its secretary and executive officer.
