A municipality or county may not issue an occupational license to any business or establishment regulated under ss. 585.70-585.96 until a grant of inspection or a custom slaughtering or processing establishment permit has been issued to the applicant for the occupational license by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The business or establishment must present its grant of inspection or permit before the occupational license may be issued.
