To fund the provisions of this act, the percentage contribution rate applicable to employers of members of the Florida Retirement System on January 1, 1996, shall be increased by .10 percent for the Regular Class; by .26 percent for the Senior Management Service Class; by .07 percent for the Special Risk Class; by .10 percent for the Special Risk Administrative Support Class; and for the following subclasses of the elected state and county officials classes: an increase by .10 percent for justices and judges; by .16 percent for the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Cabinet and state attorneys and public defenders, and legislators; and by .13 percent for county elected officers.
