(1) The Commissioner may award a standard high school diploma to eligible persons previously confined to the Dozier School for Boys or Okeechobee School who meet the following requirements:
- (a) Received compensation pursuant to section 16.63, Florida Statutes, as verified by the Department of Legal Affairs; and
- (b) Has not completed high school graduation requirements.
- (2) An application verifying all the information set forth in subsection (1) of this rule shall be forwarded, upon completion, to the Florida Department of Education using HYPERLINK "C:\\Users\\Jenifer.Bailey\\AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\Windows\\INetCache\\Content.Outlook\\3J7ON0N4\\Form FLDOZ-01, Standard High School Diploma Application"Form FLDOZ-01, Standard High School Diploma Application, (HYPERLINK "http://www.flrules.org/Gateway/reference.asp?No=Ref-17058"http://www.flrules.org/Gateway/reference.asp?No=Ref-17058) effective October 2024, which is hereby incorporated by reference in this rule.
