For the purposes of this chapter, unless otherwise specifically defined, or another intention clearly appears, or the context requires a different meaning:

1. (1) “Other states of the United States” includes Puerto Rico.
2. (2) “Person” includes an individual, corporation, partnership, firm, statutory trust, business trust, joint-stock company, association, syndicate, group, pool, joint venture and any other unincorporated association or group.
3. (3) “University” means the University of Delaware.
