Exemptions

The following positions set forth in this chapter shall be exempt from Chapter 59 of this title:
- (1) Secretary of State;
- (2) Assistant to the Secretary of State;
- (3) Director of Corporations;
- (4) State Bank Commissioner;
- (5) Director of Division of the Arts;
- (6) Director of Libraries;
- (7) Director of the Division of Human and Civil Rights.
- (8) Director of Historical and Cultural Affairs;
- (9) State Archivist and Records Administrator;
- (10) Executive Director of the Public Employment Relations Board;
- (11) Director of Professional Regulation;
- (12) Director of the Public Service Commission; and
- (13) Public Advocate.
