- (a) Each institution shall adopt and implement a policy granting undergraduate course credit to incoming students for all advanced placement examinations upon which a student receives a score of 3 or higher for any similarly-correlated course offered by the institution.
- (b) The institution may require a score higher than 3 if the credit is to be used for meeting a course requirement for a particular major or program at the institution. If a student’s score of 3 or higher on an advanced placement examination does not satisfy a course requirement for a particular major or program, the student shall receive course credit for that examination in an area outside of the student’s particular major or program area.
- (c) Each institution must publish on its website a list determining the number and type of credits awarded for each advanced placement examination score available for institutional credit.
