2349.1 Only licensed registered and/or practical nurses shall provide nursing services that include, but are not limited to:

1. (a) Health assessments of patients and children, as appropriate;
2. (b) Health screenings and referrals for examination by a physician;
3. (c) Health education for participants and staff;
4. (d) Collection of health data;
5. (e) Appropriate treatment intervention;
6. (f) Administration of medication;
7. (g) Observation of medication use by individuals and proper documentation;
8. (h) Health care counseling, especially in the areas of high-risk sexual behavior and the possibility of HIV positives; and
9. (i) Infection control.
