9207.1 Permitted types of homes for purchase with a HOAP subsidy under the HCV/HOAP, provided the home purchased is located in the District of Columbia.

1. (a) Single family home,
2. (b) Townhome;
3. (c) Condominium;
4. (d) Cooperative.

9207.2 Types of housing not approved for HOAP subsidy under the HCV/HOAP:

1. (a) Multi-unit buildings or homes with one or more rental units;
2. (b) Congregate Housing;
3. (c) Group Homes;
4. (d) Shared Housing;
5. (e) Cooperative Housing that exclude families with children;
6. (f) Manufactured Homes;
7. (g) Single Room Occupancy Units' and
8. (h) A home located outside of the District of Columbia.

9207.3 The construction status at the time of issuance of the Certificate of Assistance, may be any of the following:

1. (a) Under construction (provided construction is complete upon closing the loan and commencement of the HOAP assistance);
2. (b) New construction ready for occupancy; or
3. (c) Existing housing, with no age limitations.
