100.1 The provisions of this chapter shall apply to the following:

1. (a) Education uses as a university or college when permitted as a special exception;
2. (b) Private schools when permitted as a special exception; and
3. (c) Medical campus plans when permitted as a special exception.

100.2 The intent of regulating campus facilities is to:

1. (a) Promote well planned and designed educational campuses;
2. (b) Encourage long-term facilities planning for these uses;
3. (c) Minimize negative impacts of campuses on surrounding residential areas; and
4. (d) Provide consistency and transparency to the campus planning process.
