1100 INTRODUCTION

11000.1 This chapter identifies waterfront regulations proximate to the Potomac River, Anacostia River, or Washington Channel.

11000.2 Waterfront regulations are intended to provide for:

(a) Physical and visual public accessibility to and along the waterfront;

(b) Protection of natural resources along the waterfront;

(c) Open space along the waterfront; and

(d) Use restrictions in the one hundred (100)-year flood plain.
