Vital statistics system; Vital Records Division.

  1. (a) The Mayor shall establish a vital statistics system for the reporting, maintenance, issuance, security, and confidentiality of vital records and the data derived from such records.
  2. (b) The Vital Records Division shall be the sole source of certified copies of all vital records.
