For the purposes of this chapter, the term:

1. (1) "Collision" shall have the same meaning as provided in § 50-2201.02(3).
2. (2) "DDOT" means the District Department of Transportation.
3. (3) "Motor vehicle" shall have the same meaning as provided in § 50-2201.02(11).
4. (4) "MPD" means the Metropolitan Police Department.
