1. (a) The Department of Motor Vehicles ("DMV") shall develop and administer a safe driving curriculum composed of different courses related to safe driving practices, parking, and traffic regulations.

Applicability

Applicability of D.C. Law 25-161: § 8 of D.C. Law 25-161 provided that the creation of this section by § 2 of D.C. Law 25-161 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.

Section 7186 of D.C. Act 26-146 amended Section 8 of D.C. Law 25-161, impacting the applicability limitation of this section. Therefore the creation of subsection (b) of this section by Section 2 of D.C. Law 25-161 has not been implemented.
