1. (a) The real property located at 1526 New Hampshire Avenue, N.W., known for tax and assessment purposes as Lot 5, Square 135, shall be exempt from the tax imposed by Chapter 8 of this title as long as Women's National Democratic Club is the owner of the property, subject to the provisions of §§ 47-1007 and 47-1009, but not § 47-1005.
2. (b) The tax exemption provided by this section shall begin as of October 1, 2017.
