1. (a) Before December 31, 2019, the District of Columbia Public Schools ("DCPS") shall conduct a Good Food Purchasing Program ("GFPP") baseline assessment to determine how DCPS can better meet the GFPP core values.
2. (b) DCPS shall use findings from the assessment required under subsection (a) of this section to increase food procurement consistent with the GFPP's core values.
3. (c) Before December 31, 2020, and annually thereafter, DCPS shall complete a follow-up assessment to demonstrate progress toward the GFPP core values.

Applicability

Applicability of D.C. Law 22-240: § 3 of D.C. Law 22-240 provided that the creation of this section by § 2(m) of D.C. Law 22-240 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.

Applicability of D.C. Law 22-240: § 7160 of D.C. Law 23-16 repealed § 3 of D.C. Law 22-240. Therefore the creation of this section by D.C. Law 22-240 has been implemented.
