Applicability

Section 12 of D.C. Law 26-101 provided that the creation of this section by section 5 of D.C. Law 26-101 shall apply as of June 30, 2026. Therefore those amendments shall be implemented for this section on June 30, 2026. Further, Section 12(b)(1) of D.C. Law 26-101 provides that this act shall apply to the University of the District of Columbia on the date of inclusion of its fiscal effect on the University of the District of Columbia in an approved budget and financial plan or as of June 30, 2026, whichever is later.
