Scope.

  1. (a) This chapter applies only to college athletes and intercollegiate sports.
  2. (b) This chapter does not create an employment relationship between a college athlete and the athlete's institution with respect to the athlete's participation in an intercollegiate sport. This chapter may not be used as a factor in determining whether an employment relationship exists.
