DC Water shall provide:

1. (a)

   1. (1) Public education about the risks of lead water service lines, including for residents who are non-English speakers or have a low level of literacy; and
   2. (2) Upon request, annual free lead test kits to property owners and lessees of commercial and residential buildings.

Applicability of D.C. Law 22-241: § 5 of D.C. Law 22-241 provided that the creation of this section by § 2 of D.C. Law 22-241 is subject to the inclusion of the law’s fiscal effect in an approved budget and financial plan. Therefore that amendment has not been implemented.

Applicability
