Impermissible appointment.

Effective Mar 7, 2025Mar. 7, 2025, D.C. Law 25-265, § 2(b)

(a) Except as otherwise provided in § 19-1703.06, an exercise of a power of appointment in favor of an impermissible appointee is ineffective.
(b) An exercise of a power of appointment in favor of a permissible appointee is ineffective to the extent the appointment is a fraud on the power.
