- (a) GeneralNo person shall be certified to the level of public fire and life safety educator I or II until all examination requirements of this standard for those levels have been fulfilled.
- (b) Objectives: The candidate for certification to the level of public fire and life safety educator I or II shall comply with the performance objectives of NFPA 1035, Standard on Fire and Life Safety Educator, Public Information Officer, Youth Firesetter Intervention Specialist and Youth Firesetter Program Manager Professional Qualifications.
- (c) The commission shall certify as a public fire and life safety educator I or II each candidate who has satisfactorily met the requirements as prescribed in this section.
