1. (a) Individuals who have been issued a written acknowledgement of achievement under the provisions of Connecticut General Statutes subsection (d) of section 28-30 shall be eligible to take the written examination for certification conducted by the Office of State-Wide Emergency Telecommunications.
2. (b) Issuance of a written acknowledgement of achievement is contingent upon presentation of evidence of experience as a public safety telecommunicator or successful completion of specialized training in the area of public safety telecommunications to the Office of State-Wide Emergency Telecommunications.
