1. (a) Each nuclear pharmacy shall have the following equipment and supplies:

   1. (1) radiation detection and measuring instruments capable of accurately measuring quantities of radioactivity and radiation;
   2. (2) radiation shielding;
   3. (3) appropriate supplies and equipment for performing quality assurance testing;
   4. (4) a refrigerator;
   5. (5) materials for decontamination of accidental spills of radioactive materials; and(6) appropriate supplies and equipment necessary for compounding and dispensing sterile parenteral radiopharmaceuticals.

2. (b) Each nuclear pharmacy shall have access to, or maintain on the premises, a copy of:

   1. (1) the United States Pharmacopoeia/National Formulary (USP/NF), or Remington: The Science and Practice of Pharmacy; and(2) the current rules and regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission or agreement state.
