1. (a) Consumers shall be determined to possess the ability to self-administer medication through a process approved by the department.
2. (b) Consumers, who are able to self-administer medication as defined in subsection (ee) of section 17a-210-1 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies, may do so, provided a licensed prescriber writes an order for self-administration.
