Temporary Registration Transfers by Motor Vehicle Lessors

As used in sections 14-15-3 to 14-15-9, inclusive, of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies:

1. (a) ‘‘Commissioner’’ means the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles or the commissioner’s designee;
2. (b) ‘‘Leasing company’’ means a person, firm or corporation currently licensed by the commissioner in accordance with the provisions of section 14-15 of the Connecticut General Statutes;
3. (c) ‘‘Registration’’ means the certificate of motor vehicle registration and the number plate or plates used in connection with such registration.
