(a) Except for its initial year of operation as noted in subsection (b) below, the following timetable will be utilized in administering the High Technology Scholarship Program: DateActivityNovember 1Distribution of applications by the Department to eligible Connecticut institutions.February 1Completed applications and all supporting material to be submitted to the Department.April 1Notification of award made to applicant and institution.July 1Receipt of official transcript from student designated to receive an award verifying completion of at least 18 hours of work in the program October 1One-half of award disbursed to recipient prior to this date.February 1Balance of award for second semester disbursed to recipient prior to this date.
