Conn. Agencies Regs. § 10-76d-11
Each board of education shall adopt written policies and procedures for developing, implementing, reviewing, maintaining and evaluating the individualized education program for each child with a disability. Such policies and procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of the IDEA, sections 10-76a-10-76ii of the Connecticut General Statutes and sections 10-76a-1 to 10-76d-19, inclusive of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies. Each board of education shall develop, review and revise the IEP for each child with a disability in accordance with the requirements of the IDEA, sections 10-76a to 10-76ii, inclusive, of the Connecticut General Statutes and the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies.
(a) Components. In addition to the IEP components required under the IDEA, the IEP shall also include (1) a statement of short-term instructional objectives derived from the measurable annual goals. A measurable annual goal, including academic and functional goals, is designed to meet the needs of a child with a disability that result from the child’s disability to enable such child to be involved in and make progress in the general education curriculum and meet each of such child’s other educational needs that result from such child’s disability. Short-term instructional objectives shall include objective criteria, evaluation procedures and schedules for determining, on a regular basis, whether the short-term instructional objectives are being achieved;
