1. (a) Any person who wilfully violates any provision of subsection (a) of section 36b-4 or subsection (a) or (f) of section 36b-5 shall be fined not more than ten thousand dollars or imprisoned for not more than ten years, or both.
2. (b) Any person who wilfully violates any other provision of sections 36b-2 to 36b-34, inclusive, shall be fined not more than three thousand five hundred dollars or imprisoned for not more than two years, or both.
3. (c) No information may be returned under sections 36b-2 to 36b-34, inclusive, more than five years after the alleged violation.
