1. (a) Whenever an extended benefit period is to become effective or is to be terminated in this state, the administrator shall make an appropriate public announcement.
2. (b) Computations required by the provisions of subdivision (6) of subsection (a) of section 31-232b shall be made by the administrator, in accordance with regulations prescribed by the United States Secretary of Labor.
