Conn. Gen. Stat. § 22-224
Dealers shall furnish to the Commissioner of Agriculture such information as he deems necessary, from time to time, to effectuate the policy and provisions of this part or any order, ruling, regulation or direction issued thereunder; and such information shall be furnished upon such forms or reports as the commissioner prescribes. Dealers shall keep within the state such books, records and accounts of their operations as the commissioner deems necessary for correctly furnishing information required hereunder; and such data shall be preserved for not less than two years unless the commissioner otherwise provides. Such information, books, records and accounts may pertain to or include:

Sess. P.A. 03-6 replaced Commissioner of Agriculture with Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Protection, effective July 1, 2004; P.A. 04-189 repealed Sec. 146 of June 30 Sp. Sess. P.A. 03-6, thereby reversing the merger of the Departments of Agriculture and Consumer Protection, effective June 1, 2004.
