As used in this section, sections 13b-57m, 13b-57r and 13b-57s, subsections (a), (b) and (c) of section 13b-57t, sections 13b-74 and 13b-78l to 13b-78n, inclusive, and section 46 of public act 05-4 of the June special session*:

1. (1) “New Haven Line” means the rail passenger service operated between New Haven and intermediate points and Grand Central station, including the Danbury, Waterbury and New Canaan branch lines.
2. (2) “New Haven Line revitalization program” means the design, development, construction and acquisition of maintenance facilities, rail cars and related equipment for use on the New Haven Line, as specified in subdivisions (1) and (2) of section 13b-78l.
3. (3) “Transportation Strategy Board projects account” means the account created by subsection (a) of section 13b-57r.

4. (4) “Transportation system improvement” means:

   1. (A) Projects included in the state-wide transportation improvement program, (B) funded and unfunded projects included in regional transportation improvement plans, or (C) projects identified in subsection (h) of section 13b-57.

*Note: Section 46 of public act 05-4 of the June special session is special in nature and therefore has not been codified but remains in full force and effect according to its terms.
