- (1) In accordance with 29 U.S.C. sec. 3121, every two years the state council, in consultation with local elected officials, shall conduct a process to identify planning regions. A local area must not be placed in a planning region without the support and agreement of the work force development board and the chief elected official.
- (2) Local chief elected officials may review the regional planning area designation every two years before an updated state plan is submitted.
