As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires:

1. (1) Board means the board of directors of a forest improvement district.
2. (2) Director means a member of the board of directors of a forest improvement district.
3. (3) District means a forest improvement district created pursuant to this article.
4. (4) Eligible elector has the same meaning as set forth in section 32-1-103 (5)(a).
