Colo. Rev. Stat. § 31-4-206 – Council members - nomination - election - compensation.

(1) The nomination and election of candidates for the city council provided for by this part 2 shall be in accordance with the Colorado Municipal Election Code of 1965.
(2) The members of the city council shall receive such compensation as may be fixed by ordinance.
