- (1) No later than July 1, 2025, the state department shall seek federal authorization through an amendment to the state medical assistance plan to implement the community first choice option.
(2) At a minimum, the state plan amendment must provide for, but is not limited to:
(a) The following services:
- (I) Personal care services;
- (II) Homemaker services;
- (III) Health maintenance activities;
- (IV) Electronic monitoring services; and
- (V) Voluntary training on how to select, manage, and dismiss an attendant; and
(b) The delivery of covered services, if applicable, through:
- (I) In-home support services;
- (II) Consumer-directed services and supports; and
- (III) Licensed home care services.
