As used in this part 2, unless the context otherwise requires:

1. (1) Board or board of directors means the board of directors of the state historical society appointed pursuant to section 24-80-201.5 (2).
2. (2) Directors council means the directors council of the state historical society that may be established by the board pursuant to section 24-80-201.7 (1).
