1. (1) As used in this part 48, unless the context otherwise requires:

   1. (a) Licensee means, with respect to a Colorado licensee, as applicable:

      1. (I) A dentist holding an unrestricted license issued by the Colorado dental board created in section 12-220-105, or a successor board authorized to license dentists in Colorado; or
      2. (II) A dental hygienist holding an unrestricted license issued by the Colorado dental board created in section 12-220-105, or a successor board authorized to license dental hygienists in Colorado.
   2. (b) State licensing authority means, with respect to Colorado, the Colorado dental board created in section 12-220-105, or a successor board authorized to license dentists or dental hygienists, as applicable, in Colorado.
