Section 2 of Senate Bill 24-125, enacted in 2024, will take effect on the date the compact is enacted into law in the thirty-fifth compact state. The executive director of the Colorado department of human services shall notify the revisor of statutes in writing of the date when the condition specified in this section has occurred by emailing the notice to revisorofstatutes.ga@coleg.gov. Section 2 of Senate Bill 24-125, enacted in 2024, takes effect upon the date identified in the notice that the thirty-fifth state adopted the compact or, if the notice does not specify that date, upon the date of the notice to the revisor of statutes.
