- (1) To more efficiently support the efforts of state departments, state institutions, state agencies, law enforcement agencies, and any public safety political subdivisions, and to better serve the public, a state public safety communications network is established, the construction, maintenance, security, and management of which is under the supervision of the director of the office.
- (2) The director of the division shall appoint assistants, clerical staff, and other personnel as may be necessary to discharge the duties and responsibilities set forth by this part 25.
