Colo. Rev. Stat. § 23-61.5-108 – District - body corporate.

Each regularly organized area vocational district which may be formed as provided in this part 1 is declared to be a body corporate, by the name and style of .............. Area Vocational District, and in that name may hold property and be a party to suits and contracts, the same as municipal corporations in this state.
