Colo. Rev. Stat. § 23-30-114 – Board to choose chancellor and certain staff.

(1) It is the duty of the board of governors of the Colorado state university system to choose:
1. (a) A chancellor of the Colorado state university system, who shall serve as the chief executive officer of the system; and
2. (b) Other system staff that report directly to the board.
