1. (1) After the entry of a final decree of adoption of an Indian child, the Indian child's parent may withdraw consent upon the grounds that consent was obtained through fraud or duress and may petition the court to vacate the decree.
2. (2) Upon a finding that consent was obtained through fraud or duress, the court shall vacate the decree of adoption and order the return of the Indian child to the Indian child's parent.
3. (3) An adoption that has been effective for at least two years shall not be invalidated pursuant to this section unless otherwise permitted by state law.
