1. (1) Subject to the Uniform Disclaimer of Property Interests Act, part 12 of article 11 of this title:

   1. (a) A powerholder may disclaim all or part of a power of appointment; and
   2. (b) A permissible appointee, appointee, or taker in default of appointment may disclaim all or part of an interest in appointive property.
